Carl Cox delivers massive vinyl set at UNVRS for Radio 1: Watch

Few DJs in the world possess the respect and prestige that Carl Cox has achieved throughout his incredible career. As he continues to build upon his iconic legacy, he recently delivered a can’t-miss set during his iconic residency in Ibiza this summer.

While Ibiza has long been a desired destination for tourists and club-goers for years, the recent growth of the market and upgrade of entertainment and venues is continuing to hit new highs. In 2025, this growth was best revealed with the opening of UNVRS, a futuristic, modern approach to bringing the club experience to the masses. Amongst the artists in residence at the new location was the one and only Carl Cox, who has brought his decades of talent and influence to the island once again. As the season wound down, Cox continued to show his versatility with a very rare vinyl-only set for the crowd earlier this month,

Delivered as part of BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix programming, Carl Cox once again dominated the UNVRS stage for two epic hours of music. The contrast of the vinyl records against the futuristic look of the new club only helped to enhance the experience as the timeless energy of dance music showed through, connecting generations in one epic evening. Eschewing the need to play modern hits and edits, Cox used the opportunity to deliver a deep dive into house music throughout this epic set on Ibiza.
