GORDO and Drake attend a iconic night out at Berlin’s Berghain
Over the weekend, GORDO brought international superstar Drake to one of the most legendary clubs in the world, Berlin’s Berghain. Enjoying a night fully immersed in the city’s underground techno culture. Known for its no-phones policy and reputation, Berghain is a place where status and celebrity take a backseat to the music itself.
Recently, GORDO took international superstar Drake to Berlin’s world-renowned Berghain for a night deep in the heart of the city’s underground techno scene. Famous for its no-phones policy and reputation as a temple of electronic music, Berghain is a space where the only thing that matters is the music.
On this night, there were no VIP sections, no security teams, and no entourages. Just two friends getting lost in the rhythm. GORDO, who worked closely with Drake on tracks such as Sideways and Healing, captured the moment on Instagram, calling it:
“By far one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen… Drake in the crowd listening to techno without security.”
The two spent nearly three hours on the dance floor, with Drake fully embracing the atmosphere. At one point, he turned to GORDO and said, “Wow, everyone is so nice here, the dance community is so positive.” Drake is currently touring through Germany, and his night at Berghain was a chance to experience one of the most iconic parts of Berlin’s culture. For GORDO, it was a proud moment to share an authentic side of dance music with a close friend and collaborator.
The night was more than just a club outing; it represented what GORDO has been striving for throughout his career by breaking down barriers between genres, bringing together hip-hop, house, techno, and showing how music can unite people from completely different worlds on a single dancefloor.
