Labor Day Special: Geddy Lee’s Minimoog Model D and More Gear Deals on Reverb

Hand-built in Asheville, NC, this synth isn’t just another Model D—it’s a tribute to Rush’s legendary bassist and keyboardist, Geddy Lee, who helped define the band’s sound with his adventurous use of synthesizers. The Geddy Lee Minimoog Model D combines striking design with uncompromising sound. Its satin red finish nods to Rush’s Grace Under Pressure tour setup, while a hand-signed, numbered Certificate of Authenticity from Geddy Lee himself makes it a true piece of rock history.

But the appeal goes beyond looks. This Model D features a custom hot-rodded VCA that injects extra grit and energy into the already iconic Minimoog tone. Add to that a “Starman” badge on the front, a matching sticker on the rear, and a limited-edition 10-inch translucent red vinyl pressing of Rush classics “Xanadu” and “Jacob’s Ladder,” and you have an instrument that doubles as memorabilia. Each unit also ships with an exclusive Geddy Lee poster.

The Geddy Lee Model D might be the star, but Reverb’s Labor Day Sale features plenty of other exciting gear for producers, synth heads, and recording engineers. Here are some standouts:
