LEA KEY: Turning stories Into global soundscapes

From the underground stages of Hamburg’s St. Pauli to the world’s biggest festivals, singer-songwriter and artist LEA KEY is shaping her own path in electronic music. Her motto, “Stories become history”, is more than a phrase — it’s the heartbeat of her artistry.

“Every song can carry more than just sound. It can capture a feeling, a moment, a story,” she explains. “That motto is my compass; it helps me to create with passion and depth.”

From Small Venues to Global Festivals

What started on intimate local stages soon grew into something much bigger. After moving to Amsterdam in 2021, LEA KEY’s music began resonating on some of the world’s biggest platforms. Her songs have been played at Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, and EDC, supported by artists including Armin van Buuren, Gryffin, and David Guetta. With releases on Armada, Kontor, and Q-dance, plus more than 43 million streams, she has become one of the most exciting new voices in electronic music.

Breakthrough Records and Recognition

Her breakout moment came in 2024 with “In the Silence.” The track was named one of the Top Records of the Year on A State of Trance, featured on the ASOT Year Mix, and performed live with Giuseppe Ottaviani in Poland. For LEA, it was more than an accolade: “It came from a place of both vulnerability and strength, and I think that’s why people connected so deeply.” 

Her credits include La Fuente’s ‘RATATA’, a platinum- and gold-certified hit that quickly became one of the most-played tracks on Dutch radio. Furthermore, beyond the Netherlands, the single gained momentum across Europe, resonating on radio stations and festival stages alike.

“With roots in Hamburg, a creative base in Amsterdam, and plans to expand into Los Angeles, LEA KEY is now stepping into her next chapter. Moreover, collaborations with Mathame and Paul Oakenfold, alongside upcoming solo releases, further point to an artist steadily defining her global sound.

Creating KEY MOMENTS

Her vision has taken shape in her own event concept, KEY MOMENTS, which debuted in cooperation with AD MGMT (a 360° boutique event-production house) at Amsterdam Dance Event 2024. This year, the series returns, taking over the SKYY Tower at the WestCord Fashion Hotel.
