Mobb Deep announce first album in 11 years with ‘Infinite’
For the first time in over a decade, Mobb Deep will return with a brand-new album. The legendary Queensbridge duo will release Infinite on October 10 via Mass Appeal, marking their first full-length project since 2014’s The Infamous Mobb Deep. To set the tone, the group has shared its Havoc-produced opener, ‘Against the World’, now available across streaming platforms.
Although Infinite arrives after the passing of Prodigy in 2017, his voice remains central to the project. The record will stand as his second posthumous release following 2022’s The Hegelian Dialectic 2: The Book of Heroine. “This one feels like coming full circle,” Havoc explained. “It’s that classic Mobb energy – dark, real, unfiltered. The sound that shaped who we are but also speaks to where hip-hop is right now.”
Spanning 15 tracks, Infinite continues the raw storytelling and uncompromising production that made Mobb Deep one of the most influential acts in rap history. The release reaffirms their enduring legacy, nearly three decades after the game-changing The Infamous defined New York street rap for generations.
Adding to the celebration, Havoc will honor the album’s arrival with a co-headlining tour alongside Raekwon, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of The Infamous. For longtime fans, the tour promises a rare chance to revisit a pivotal era of hip-hop while looking ahead to its newest chapter.
