Legendary Studio 54 reopens for one night after 45 years

For one unforgettable night this September, Studio 54 will reopen its velvet ropes as Valentino Beauty transforms the legendary New York nightclub into a celebration of glamour. The occasion marks the launch of the brand’s 2025 Rendez-Vous Ivory Collection, reviving the spirit of disco’s most iconic era.

The original Studio 54, which reigned from 1977 to 1980, became synonymous with hedonism, fashion, and music, attracting icons like Diana Ross, Andy Warhol, Bianca Jagger, Cher, and Grace Jones. Now, more than four decades later, Valentino will honor that heritage on September 10 with an immersive experience. Moreover, the celebration is designed not only for beauty insiders and cultural tastemakers, but also for some of the club’s original patrons, bridging past and present in true Studio 54 fashion.

The new Rendez-Vous Ivory collection introduces reimagined versions of Valentino’s acclaimed Born in Roma fragrances. Born in Roma Donna Rendez-Vous Ivory features bright orange blossom and marshmallow notes layered with vanilla and musk, while Born in Roma Uomo Rendez-Vous Ivory leans into smoky warmth with bergamot and lavandin. Packaged in ivory-and-gold vessels, the bottles reflect the glamour of Studio 54.

Additionally, the line includes Spike Ivory Lipsticks, available in shades such as Rose Rêverie, Berry Murmur, and Sunrise Glimmer. Valentino infused each with the Roma Light Complex, delivering bold color and a luxurious matte finish.
