John Summit channels Burning Man spirit with new ‘Playa Package’ remix compilation: Listen

John Summit continues his unstoppable run with the release of ‘Playa Package’, a vibrant remix compilation inspired by his transformative experiences at Burning Man and the Mayan Warrior Pop-Up in Los Angeles. Out today, the project arrives as a reflection of Summit’s deep connection with the desert community and its culture of creativity and expression.

A Burning Man regular since 2022, John Summit became fascinated by the Mayan Warrior’s legendary sunrise sets. “After my first Burning Man and experiencing a Mayan Warrior sunrise, I was so inspired that it became a long-term goal of mine to one day play on their car,” he shared. “All of these remixes were crafted specifically for my Burning Man set – some of my biggest tracks reimagined and reborn in the desert.”

The ‘Playa Package’ compilation includes six dynamic reworks that transform Summit’s most beloved tracks into fresh, atmospheric versions built for the playa. The collection features Millero, OMRI., N.O.Y. & Guy Katch, EdiP, and Mishell, alongside Summit’s own remix of ‘Crystallized’ (feat. Inéz) – a track that became a fan favorite across Tomorrowland and Outside Lands before its official release.

Beyond the studio, John Summit has been on an extraordinary streak of milestones. From his biggest UK show at London’s O2 Arena to hosting the massive Experts Only Festival NYC for over 50,000 fans, he continues to redefine what’s possible for dance music in 2025. His fall schedule includes a second Austin City Limits weekend and his largest solo show to date at Folsom Field in Boulder.
