L-Acoustics to Launch Industry-First DJ System at Amsterdam Dance Event 2025

L-Acoustics is set to officially launch its L-Acoustics DJ on October 30, 2025, following exclusive demonstrations during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) from October 22–24. Shipments are expected to begin in early 2026.

First unveiled in May 2025, L-Acoustics DJ is the world’s first complete system that transforms traditional stereo DJ setups into fully immersive spatial audio experiences—without requiring any major changes to existing workflows. The system leverages L-Acoustics’ proprietary Source Separate technology, which uses low-latency machine learning to break down stereo tracks into individual stems such as beats, basslines, melodies, and vocals. DJs can then position and manipulate these elements throughout the physical space in real time, offering audiences a dynamic 3D sound experience.

Electronic artist Max Cooper, who showcased the technology at L-Acoustics Keynote 2025, shared his experience:

Amsterdam: The Immersive Sound Epicenter

Amsterdam continues to lead the evolution of immersive audio in nightlife. In 2024, The Other Side became the world’s first nightclub to install L-ISA Immersive Sound Technology, featuring a 360° 14.1.5 configuration. The venue now serves as the first to integrate L-Acoustics DJ, acting as a testbed for this next-generation system.

Attendees of ADE 2025 can experience the system through a series of hands-on demos, panels, and live performancesat venues including The Other Side, Rosewood Hotel Ballroom, and Pacific Hotel (ADE Labs). Key sessions include:
