TONEX uses IK’s machine modeling system to recreate the tone and dynamics of real amplifiers and pedals. The software includes hundreds of modeled signal chains covering clean, crunch, and high-gain sounds, with detailed captures of mics, cabinets, and EQ responses. Users can also record their own rigs to create custom profiles directly inside the software.
The plugin runs on macOS and Windows in VST3, AU, and AAX formats, and can also operate in standalone mode for playing or practicing without a DAW. It connects with ToneNET, IK’s online platform that hosts thousands of community-shared tone models, giving users access to an expanding library of sounds.
This offer marks one of the largest discounts seen on TONEX to date. For guitarists, producers, and engineers interested in detailed amp modeling or expanding their tone collection, the sale provides an accessible entry point before prices return to normal after October 12.
