Yamaha unveils MODX M – A next-gen synth for creators who demand more

Yamaha has introduced the MODX M, a sleek new line of mid-range synthesizers designed for today’s generation of music creators. Building on the DNA of the flagship MONTAGE M, the series blends high-end sound engines, intuitive control, and a portable design that bridges the gap between studio power and live performance.

In terms of performance, the MODX M features three distinct sound engines – the AN-X engine for analog-style warmth, FM-X for advanced digital synthesis, and AWM2 for realistic acoustic instruments.
