Andy C & Axwell join forces on a surprise DnB rework of ‘I Found U’: Listen

Andy C has teamed up with Axwell and vocalist Max’C to deliver a high-octane drum ’n’ bass reimagining of the 2007 classic ‘I Found U’ – and fans are calling it one of the most unexpected collaborations of the year. For many longtime Axtone followers, the crossover feels surreal; it’s the first time Axwell and Andy C have joined forces, blending two worlds that rarely collide.

A refreshed take on one of Axwell’s defining hits

Originally released in 2007, ‘I Found U’ marked one of Axwell’s defining solo anthems. The track reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart, with its now-iconic “Remode” version becoming the go-to edit for radio and festivals. The single later earned a place on Swedish House Mafia’s 2010 mix album Until One, further cementing its legacy as one of Axwell’s most recognisable productions.

Now, nearly two decades later, Andy C injects the classic with blistering drum ’n’ bass energy, transforming the euphoric hook into a peak-time weapon built for modern dancefloors.
“So buzzing this is getting an official release. I initially made this as a special (bootleg) for my sets and it’s been a big part of my summer shows—to now it getting a full release alongside the legend that is Axwell is just unreal,” Andy C shares.

The collaboration first surfaced during Andy C’s VS battle with Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1, before earning heavy rotation across major festivals including Ultra Music Festival, EDC, and a string of summer appearances. The track’s final form then landed as a standout highlight of Andy C’s Boiler Room set, which premiered at the end of October and quickly lit up social media.
