Armada Music enters a milestone agreement with Sonique, securing worldwide rights to her entire catalog and launching a new phase for one of dance music’s most defining voices. Although her classics stayed present in global club culture, the catalog now gains a focused platform driven by Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music teams in London, Amsterdam, and New York. Moreover, the partnership sets the stage for high-impact re-issues, fresh remixes, and expanded global discovery.

Bringing Sonique’s Legacy to a New Generation

Throughout her career, Sonique shaped electronic music with unmistakable vocals and commanding performances. Her catalog features timeless records that continue to influence every corner of the scene. Additionally, her hit ‘It Feels So Good’ stands as a defining moment. She first released it in 1998, and after strong momentum from US radio, she re-released it in 2000. The single reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks, ended as the UK’s third-best-selling single of the year, and climbed to #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. Interest surged again after Matt Sassari and HUGEL delivered a 2024 rework featuring Sonique.

Another key highlight, ‘Sky’, further cemented her global impact, reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart, and reinforced her place in the genre’s history. With Armada’s support, both records—and many more—will reach new audiences while the team reintroduces longtime fans to updated versions.
