Armin van Buuren has unveiled ‘Sonic Samba’, the debut single from his forthcoming piano album ‘Piano’, out October 31 exclusively on Apple Music and Apple Music Classical for one week before its wide release on November 7. The track introduces a new chapter in Armin’s artistic evolution, showcasing his first venture into fully acoustic, piano-led compositions.
Recorded at ConcertLab in Utrecht, ‘Sonic Samba’ strips away the trance rhythms and synth layers that defined his career, replacing them instead with raw, emotive melodies played live in a single take. Moreover, the piece captures Armin’s deep connection to the piano—an instrument he began studying years ago to rediscover musical balance and mental clarity. In addition, its organic sound highlights the freedom and precision that come from performing without electronic elements, offering fans a completely new listening experience.
