Dimitri Vegas and David Guetta deliver cinematic new music video: Watch

Although the golden age of MTV and music videos is largely in the past, Dimitri Vegas and David Guetta aim to elevate the art form. The visual component for their latest single combines plenty of Hollywood magic to deliver a powerful piece of art.

Earlier this year, Dimitri Vegas, David Guetta, and Loreen joined forces for the powerful festival anthem Pum Pum. The trio has now continued to build on the legacy of the track with a must-see music video worthy of a proper cinema watch. Helped by Irish director Ruairí Robinson and executive producer Neill Blomkamp, whose work on Elysian and Gran Turismo shines through here, reveals an apocalyptic rave complete with a mechanical dinosaur. The collaboration continues to showcase Dimitri Vegas’ interest in filmmaking and crossover work between music and visual content.

Despite clocking in at under two and a half minutes, the Pum Pum music video is a fully fleshed-out story that will have viewers glued to the screen. In this landscape of warfare and music, Dimitri Vegas, David Guetta, and Loreen are seen riding down a peril-filled highway, as a massive rave occurs just beyond the danger. With motorcycles, sword fighting, and yes, a massive robotic dinosaur, this is much more than a music video; this is a cinematic work of art.
