DJ Snake returns with star-studded album ‘Nomad’: Listen
Esteemed producer DJ Snake has offloaded his highly-anticipated third studio album, ‘Nomad’.
On Friday, DJ Snake unveiled his brand new 17-track album ‘Nomad’ – hailing in one of his finest full-length projects to date. A comprehensive collection of originals and collaborations, the Paris-born producer has curated a cross-cultural soundscape, enlisting the help of the likes of Travis Scott, Future, J Balvin, Dillon Francis, and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley among others along the way. Premiered during his packed solo performance at Stade de France, ‘Nomad’ showcases his true versatility – forever pushing boundaries, embracing new influences, and evolving his sonic identity.
This cutting-edge LP kicks off with its namesake track, ‘Nomad’ – a sweeping, cinematic opener that eases us into the genre-spanning journey he is set to take us on with the other 16 tracks. Standout productions go on to include the entrancing ‘In The Dark’ with Stray Kids, the explosive ‘Tsunami’ featuring Future and Travis Scott, and ‘Teka’ with Peso Pluma – a fierce collision of Latin flair and European bass. ‘Patience’ also transforms Amadou & Mariam’s ‘Sabali’ into a poignant tale of migration, while‘Bam Bam’ with Damian Marley pays homage to Snake’s deep-rooted love for reggae and global street rhythms.
Snake also gives a nod to where dance music is headed next, throwing down refreshing ideas with tracks such as ‘Bring The House Down’ with Dillon Francis, ‘Reloaded’ with Space Laces, and the previously released ‘Something Wrong’ with Don Toliver.
As we have come to learn with the Frenchman across an already-expansive career, his music is always full of surprises at every twist and turn. So, be sure to check out the DJ Snake album, ‘Nomad’ below, and on all other major streaming platforms now.
