Home Events Pet Shop Boys announce intimate London run of “Obscure” shows

The legendary duo Pet Shop Boys are preparing a rare treat for devoted fans as they announce five intimate shows in London next spring. Titled “Obscure Pet Shop Boys,” the limited run will take place at Camden’s Electric Ballroom from April 6 to 10, 2026. Instead of performing their chart-topping hits, the pair will dive deep into their catalogue, focusing on non-single album tracks, B-sides, and rarely heard favourites.

During the announcement, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe shared their excitement, saying, “We are very excited at the prospect of going deeper into our song catalogue in these shows and giving album tracks, B-sides and fan favourites a chance to be heard live.” This statement reflects their desire to reconnect with their audience through songs that shaped their creative journey but often stayed in the shadows.

Moreover, this new concept follows their successful Dreamworld – The Greatest Hits Live tour, yet it deliberately moves away from arena-sized production. Instead, the duo aims to create a more personal and immersive experience, giving long-time listeners a chance to rediscover hidden gems within their body of work. By returning to a smaller venue like the Electric Ballroom, the Pet Shop Boys are re-establishing a closer dialogue with their audience.

In addition, the April 8 performance will support the charity War Child, underlining the band’s continued commitment to humanitarian causes. Tickets go on sale November 12 via the official Pet Shop Boys website and social channels, so fans should act quickly to secure a spot for this rare, heartfelt celebration of their legacy.
