Sébastien Tellier releases “Naïf de Cœur (Alternative Versions)” EP and announces new album ‘Kiss the Beast’: Listen
French visionary Sébastien Tellier continues to explore the emotional and sonic depths of his artistry with the release of his new EP, ‘Naïf de Cœur (Alternative Versions)’. Following the luminous original single, this three-track collection offers a stripped, multifaceted reinterpretation of love and vulnerability through intimate piano work and electronic reimagination.
Furthermore, Tellier delivers a raw piano-and-voice rendition that highlights his introspective songwriting, alongside two previously unreleased remixes from Johnny Jewel (Italians Do It Better) and Midnight Juggernauts. Each version reshapes the song’s emotional core – blending melancholy and tension into a cinematic experience.
“Naïf de Cœur is about love without filters, without strategy. A raw emotion that I wanted to revisit from different angles, as if each version revealed another truth of the same heart,” explains Sébastien Tellier. Through this EP, he deepens his avant-garde universe, merging sincerity with experimentation while celebrating transformation without losing the song’s original essence.
Meanwhile, Tellier looks ahead to his forthcoming full-length album, ‘Kiss the Beast’, out January 30, 2026. The record promises an ambitious fusion of pop, orchestral, and electronic elements, featuring collaborations with Nile Rodgers, Kid Cudi, Slayyyter, and arrangements by Owen Pallett. Crafted between Paris and London, the album represents a sweeping love letter to pop culture—both intimate and universal.
Over the past two decades, Sébastien Tellier has remained one of France’s most enigmatic and forward-thinking artists. From his 2004 classic La Ritournelle to his celebrated performance at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, his work continues to bridge emotional storytelling and musical innovation.
Naïf de Cœur (Alternative Versions) is out now on all streaming platforms, while Kiss the Beast is available for pre-order here.
