In a country rife with incredible club life and revered for the powerful artists that have continued to preserve the scene, Germany serves as a powerful focal point for ravers worldwide. Amongst the many well-respected venues in the region, Berghain operates as both exclusive and incredible, with its offerings and clientele. Its ability to draw massive talent like Skrillex while curating a wide variety of talent of all levels to fill out the space's calendar, helps to draw fans from all over the spot. Despite the music often being the star of the scene, a new movie will focus not on the space's inner workings, but rather on a tale of those unable to fully experience the raw energy of the club.

The German club scene has long been revered for its pulsing productions and passionate club goers. Looking to chronicle the events of an attempted visit to the famed Berghain club space, a new comedic film is in production to replay the events.

A new comedy movie is in the works, and it builds upon the story of Chris and Dan, and the story told through the popular podcast Search Engine, the aptly titled Why didn’t Chris and Dan get into Berghain? The currently untitled film will star Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers and will be produced by Will Ferrell’s Big Money Players network. As of this writing, there are no further details regarding the eventual release date of the production, but it will be distributed via Disney’s Searchlight Pictures. Stay tuned as we deliver more details regarding this Berghain-focused flick as they are released.
