David Guetta has officially made chart history. This week, the French producer becomes the first artist ever to earn 20 No. 1 records on Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, as ‘Gone Gone Gone’ with Teddy Swims and Tones and I climbs to the top spot on the Dec. 13-dated ranking.
Released on Oct. 10 via What A DJ / Warner Records, the track jumped six positions to No. 1 following a 48% increase in radio plays between Nov. 29 and Dec. 4. Moreover, the surge across dance-focused stations and pop mix show hours secured Guetta his fourth chart-topper of 2025, setting a new single-year record in the chart’s 22-year history.
Notably, David Guetta now stands alone at the top of the leaderboard. His 20 No. 1s place him ahead of Calvin Harris (18), Rihanna (12), The Chainsmokers (10), and Tiësto (7), further reinforcing his long-standing influence on dance radio. Additionally, 12 of Guetta’s chart-toppers arrived during the 2020s, highlighting his continued dominance in the modern era.
Guetta’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay journey began in June 2007 with ‘The World Is Mine’ featuring JD Davis. Since then, his presence on the chart has only accelerated, driven by consistent crossover appeal and radio-friendly production.
Meanwhile, ‘Gone Gone Gone’ also marks a milestone for its collaborators. Both Teddy Swims and Tones and I secure their first-ever No. 1 on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. For Tones and I, it represents her first Billboard radio chart leader of any kind, while Teddy Swims continues his rapid ascent across multiple radio formats.
