Gesaffelstein announces ‘Enter The Gamma’ live album and releases ‘OPR (live)’
Gesaffelstein has officially announced Enter The Gamma, his first-ever live album, and launched the era with the release of ‘OPR (live)’, available now. The full album lands on January 23, 2026, documenting his recent world tour in its purest form.
Rather than reshaping material in the studio, Gesaffelstein captured the performances exactly as they happened on stage. He recorded the album during the Enter The Gamma world tour, presenting the set without edits or embellishment. As a result, Enter The Gamma delivers sound that feels loud, sharp, and meticulously controlled, mirroring the intensity of his live shows.
The tour cut across the global festival circuit, debuting at Coachella and continuing through Ultra, EDC, Portola, We Love Green, Les Vieilles Charrues, Summer Sonic, Palomosa, Lido, Rosendal, Audioriver, Les Nuits de Fourvière, and Tecate Pal Norte. Alongside these appearances, Gesaffelstein sold out three major headline shows at Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Radius in Chicago, and Brooklyn Mirage in New York.
Throughout his career, Gesaffelstein has worked in absolutes – light, noise, silence, and impact. He broke through in the early 2010s with Aleph and its defining track ‘Pursuit’, before collaborating with The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, HAIM, and Pharrell. More recently, he expanded his reach by working with Charli XCX, Lil Nas X, and Lady Gaga, co-producing four tracks on Mayhem and earning his first Grammy nomination for his remix of ‘Abracadabra’.
Inspired by painter Pierre Soulages, Gesaffelstein approaches black as a surface where light takes form. With Enter The Gamma, he translates that philosophy into sound, delivering his most stripped-back and uncompromising statement to date.
