Royash talks main inspirations, upcoming projects and more: Interview 

Opening up on a variety of topics, Royash offers us a glimpse into his career in an interview that should not go amiss.

Carving his own path within the electronic dance industry, Royash is the true embodiment of an act that has dedicated his life into mastering the craft he is so passionate about. Boasting a sharp, dark and emotionally charged sound, this fast-rising star leaves no doubt to the imagination, with his powerful and cinematic live sets, only further enhancing his status on a global scale. Multifaceted to say the least, we are more than thrilled to be joined by Royash himself, as he talks main inspirations and influences, the origin of his style of play, releasing tracks in the form of ‘RAGE IS POWER’ and ‘DROP IT,’ future plans and so much more.

Hello and thank you for joining us! Could you provide us with an insight on the main inspirations/influences that led to your chosen career pathway in music? 

“I connected to electronic music from a young age, especially during the EDM era. The energy, atmosphere, and emotional impact of that time pulled me in, and over the years it naturally led me toward creating my own sound and direction.”

Creating a style of play that is truly unique and organic, we would like to know the origin of your signature sound and how it may have evolved over time?

“I’ve discovered a sound that represents me, built on emotion and atmosphere, but I’m still evolving and refining it over time.”

With versatility a key aspect in the dance scene, could you talk us through your own ability of adapting to various genres, and how beneficial this can be going forward? 

“I listen to a wide range of electronic styles, which makes it natural for me to move between genres. It keeps my creativity open and helps me stay flexible during sets while still keeping my identity.”

Producing music that is both emotive and personal, we would like to know the key elements that shape your sound, as well as the overall vision when creating music? 

“My music is built on atmosphere, emotion, and movement. I focus on expressive melodies and cinematic tension, but my drops are always rhythmic, energetic, and made to move the crowd.”

Making waves with releases such as ‘RAGE IS POWER’ and ‘DROP IT,’ could you talk us through the main thought process behind each track, and what each represents in the artistic range that you possess? 

“‘RAGE IS POWER’ shows my intense, aggressive side, while ‘DROP IT’ brings a brighter, more uplifting energy but still keeps the mood and atmosphere I connect to. Together, they show the range of my sound.”

Delivering anthems that resonate directly with the crowds, we would like to know the overall reach of your music, and how it has been perceived by fans alike?

“The responses have been strong and continue to grow. People connect with the energy, emotion, and overall atmosphere in my tracks, and I’m seeing that support build both online and across my shows.”

With 2025 now coming to an end, could you provide us with an insight on what the future holds for Royash, always in terms of new music, live performances and the general evolution of your craft?

“I’ve been working on more music, including tracks with stronger vocals that show more of who I am. I’m also focused on expanding my shows and developing my visual identity. 2026 will be a year of growth, new releases, and a deeper evolution of my sound.”
