Edging ever closer to the highly anticipated New Year’s Eve shows that will be taking place in San Francisco, fans of Skrillex and Boys Noize have entered into a frenzy, with both acts set to perform only a few hours apart on the same night, whilst each of their venues is at walking distance from one another. A too big of a coincidence for some, it is now rumoured that Dog Blood, the dormant alias of both acts combined, will be finally making a long-awaited return, as a permanent split was never confirmed.

Igniting rumours of a Dog Blood reunion, Skrillex and Boys Noize will be performing on the same night, a few hours apart, at venues close to one another.

Headlining the Pier 80 warehouse event on December 30th, dubstep icon Skrillex will be performing alongside Four Tet, a night before Swedish House Mafia ring in the new year at the same venue. Following the former event, Boys Noize is now the headlining act for the official afterparty that will take place at The Midway, and as expected, the return of Dog Blood is now on everyone’s minds as a distinct possibility. A bass-heavy fusion of the scene’s all-time greats, it has now been more than a decade since the duo’s debut, whilst their most recent release came in 2019, in the form of their ‘Turn Off The Lights’ EP.

Intriguing to say the very least, the return of Dog Blood could be on the cards, and as everyone prepares for the madness that will unfold in San Francisco these coming days, we will most certainly be keeping a close eye on all events as they take place, so be sure to stay tuned for all the latest news right here.
