Timmy Trumpet announces short break from touring, radio, and social media
The intense emotional, mental, and physical energy that goes into a full-time music career has been well documented in recent years. Now, Timmy Trumpet has announced that he will be taking a break from his career to engage in some much-needed self-care.
Whether dominating festival stages, providing entertainment at sports events, delivering his radio show, or unleashing a consistent barrage of singles, Timmy Trumpet has been a relentless entity in the electronic music landscape. Earlier this year, he was forced to cancel several events due to an ankle injury, but now he is looking to step back from his many musical obligations. In a post to social media, he reveals, “Taking a break for the first time in my career. This has been the toughest year of my life for reasons I’m not ready to share publicly.”
While the post is clear that he intends to step back for the immediate future, Timmy Trumpet shares that the upcoming 250th episode of his radio show will indeed be his last. He says that he will be taking weeks off from touring, so based purely on that, it seems likely that he will return to the road sometime in 2026. He ends the post by thanking his fans for their understanding in the manner, simply writing, “LOVE YOU GUYS SO FKN MUCH… brb.” We hope Timmy Trumpet gets the rest and peace he is looking for and anxiously await his return to the public eye!
