A State of Trance announces Vietnam debut for 25-year celebration
A State of Trance will make its historic Vietnam debut on 13 June 2026, as Ho Chi Minh City hosts the brand’s only Southeast Asia stop for the ‘ASOT 25 Years’ celebration. Moreover, the event will bring one of dance music’s most recognised festival concepts to Van Phuc City, a modern outdoor destination in Thu Duc City, as Vietnam continues to grow into a key market for international electronic events.
Armin van Buuren launched A State of Trance in 2001 as a radio show, and since then it has expanded into a global platform that reaches millions of trance fans every week. However, ASOT’s impact now stretches far beyond broadcasting, as the brand has built a reputation through large-scale shows that focus on community, curation, and high-end production. Notably, the Vietnam reveal arrives while Armin also gears up for the flagship ‘ASOT 25 Years’ celebrations in Rotterdam, with several names already confirmed for that milestone edition.
The Vietnam edition will deliver a full-scale outdoor festival experience while reflecting the sound and direction of modern trance. Additionally, the organisers will reveal the supporting lineup at a later date, alongside a special face-to-face performance, a format known for one-off collaborations and surprise moments.
Armin van Buuren said: “A State of Trance has connected people through music for 25 years. Now, for the first time, we’re bringing that experience to Vietnam, and I’m beyond excited to welcome Vietnamese fans into the ASOT family in this milestone year.”
Fans can pre-register now via ‘astateoftrance.com/vietnam’ for private sale access before tickets go public on 31 January. Ticket tiers start at USD 35 for early access, while premium options include a viewing deck and limited behind-the-DJ access packages.
