Afrojack announces ‘Kapuchon Presents Afrojack’ North American club tour
Afrojack has announced the next step in his evolving club direction, revealing the ‘Kapuchon Presents Afrojack’ tour, a limited run of intimate North American dates built around his house and techno alias Kapuchon. Moreover, the announcement lands as momentum continues to build around the project, fuelled by unreleased IDs that have already drawn support from names like Swedish House Mafia, Steve Angello, Anyma, Dom Dolla, John Summit, and Peggy Gou.
Running from 5–14 March, the seven-date tour shifts Afrojack away from the biggest mainstages and into underground-leaning rooms, giving fans a rare chance to hear the Kapuchon sound in the right setting. Additionally, the route includes key venues such as Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, EQ Nightclub in San Diego, Refuge in Brooklyn, CODA in Toronto, and StereoBar in Montreal.
The tour also follows Afrojack’s recent sunrise B2B debut in Tulum, where he joined Francis Mercier at Zamna, reinforcing the idea that this new era isn’t a side mission, it’s a serious creative direction. At the same time, the announcement arrives shortly after the 15-year anniversary of ‘Take Over Control’, a milestone Afrojack marked by inviting a new generation of producers to rework the classic for modern dancefloors.
That remix EP reflects the same forward motion behind Kapuchon, with versions ranging from Maddix bringing high-intensity techno energy to Matt Sassari’s darker house interpretation. Furthermore, the HILLS remix topped Beatport’s Mainstage chart for two weeks, earning support from John Summit and more.
Presale tickets go live on 28 January at 10AM local time, followed by general sale on 29 January at 10AM local time.
