Charlotte de Witte announces deluxe album edition and new single ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’

Charlotte de Witte has announced a Deluxe Vinyl Edition of her acclaimed self-titled debut album, alongside a brand-new single titled ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’, out on 5 February via her own KNTXT imprint. Furthermore, the deluxe vinyl edition is set for release on 3 April, extending the album’s narrative with new music, exclusive versions, and curated extras.

The boxed vinyl edition features an additional four-track disc, including two new original cuts, ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ featuring Conduit, and ‘Malina’, alongside vinyl-exclusive versions of ‘The Heads That Know’ (They Know Acid) and ‘No Division’ (Instrumental Mix). Additionally, the set includes a branded SD card containing all tracks, plus an exclusive continuous album mix curated by Charlotte herself, as well as a high-quality booklet showcasing official artwork.

The digital release expands further with a digital-exclusive Avalon & GMS Remix of ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’, reinforcing the ongoing crossover between techno and psytrance within the KNTXT universe. Speaking on the release, Charlotte said: “All good things come to an end, but this one not quite yet. ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ sums up the whole philosophy of the album.” She added that the collaboration with Conduit began after a chance meeting on the Williamsburg Bridge in 2024.

Musically, ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ pairs Conduit’s spoken-word delivery with driving techno energy, acidic textures, and tension-heavy builds. Meanwhile, ‘Malina’, built around Bulgarian vocals, leans into a balance of emotional depth and raw club power.

The announcement arrives as Charlotte celebrates 15 years as an artist, with sold-out Flanders Expo shows, major festival headlines, and continued global recognition marking one of the strongest chapters of her career to date. Pre-save the new single here.
