Chemikkal continues his rise with new Afro-house release ‘Takes My Breath Away’: Listen

Chemikkal is back with ‘Takes My Breath Away,’ a new Afro-house release out now on Sirup Music, and the track continues his steady run with the label, adding another release to a growing catalog that has helped define his sound over the past few years.

Rather than leaning on big moments, ‘Takes My Breath Away’ keeps things understated, built around rhythm and feel, sitting comfortably in a DJ set or on its own and reflecting Chemikkal’s measured approach to production and his preference for letting groove and atmosphere lead.

The release arrives as Chemikkal continues to expand his presence beyond the studio, with recent DJ appearances in Charlotte, Raleigh, Chicago, New York and Tampa helping grow his audience across different markets while maintaining a strong connection to the dancefloor.

Alongside his releases, Chemikkal also runs Reaction Radio, a monthly mix series that has become a key part of his creative output, which started as a curated mix platform and has steadily grown into something much bigger, evolving into an event series and broader creative brand.

Reaction Radio events are now preparing to move into new locations around Florida and outside the state, marking the next phase of its growth.
