Marking a major milestone in their already illustrious career within the dance industry, pioneering English band Depeche Mode have now released both physical and digital editions of their groundbreaking cinematic project, ‘DEPECHE MODE: M,’ as well as the accompanying live album, ‘Memento Mori: Mexico City.’
Delving deep into the band’s musical connection and Mexico’s cultural perspective towards mortality, the documentary offers an intriguing insight on the collision of eachother’s worlds, with award-winning Mexican director Fernando Frías adding his magic touch to this truly captivating watch. Filmed during their sold-out 2023 shows at the Foro Sol Stadium in Mexico City, Depeche Mode’s interaction with the audiences was truly remarkable, resulting of course in this must-watch project.
Moreover, the comprehensive live album ‘Memento Mori: Mexico City’ delivers over two hours of music from those shows, and the brand also include previously unreleased tracks such as ‘Survive,’ ‘Life 2.0,’ ‘Give Yourself To Me,’ and ‘In The End’ within this powerful body of work.
