DJ Snake cancels all upcoming shows due to a health issue that requires surgery
DJ Snake has officially announced that he will be canceling all of his upcoming shows due to health issues: “It’s something I can’t push or delay anymore,” the French superstar producer states.
DJ Snake took to Instagram earlier today to announce that he will officially have to cancel all his upcoming scheduled shows due to an ongoing health issue. The unfortunate news comes just as the famed French producer was gearing up to begin his 2026 tour in Canada at Igloofest Montréal. In the post, Snake mentions that he has “been battling [the] health issue for a while, and it’s finally caught up with [him].“
DJ Snake goes on to clarify that the health issue will require surgery in early February as “it’s something [he] can’t push or delay anymore.“ After the surgery, he will need a month to fully rest and recover. Along with the cancelled Igloofest performance, Snake will also have to cancel his run of six highly anticipated shows across India. His recovery might also put his appearance at Ultra Music Festival in Miami in jeopardy as his stated recovery time will be continuing around then. He was set to perform at Ultra as himself and his alias, The Outlaw in a b2b with Trym.
It is uncertain if “all shows“ also include the eight others that are scheduled for this year, spanning from May to August. Snake acknowledged that the cancellation of the India tour was an incredibly tough decision. However, he also mentions that he needs to get back to 100% healthy again and this was the only option.
There is no exact timetable for when we will see DJ Snake return to the stage other than that we can expect his recovery to go late into March, and maybe beyond. He has not disclosed what the current health issue is. While it is an unfortunate and tough decision, it feels like the best one for DJ Snake.
