EsDeeKid reacts to The Chainsmokers remix of his track ‘4 Raws’ 

Taking to his social media accounts, UK rapper EsDeeKid has publicly criticised The Chainsmokers for the remix of his track ‘4 Raws.’

Reigniting the debate over remix culture and consent, Liverpool rapper EsDeeKid has publicly criticised The Chainsmokers and their remix of his track, ‘4 Raws,’ with his reaction now circulating online, and of course, sparking further controversy on what has become an ongoing issue within our community, and not only for that matter in fact. 

A remix that was never marketed as official, and only posted on YouTube and SoundCloud, EsDeeKid made his views known from the very start, as he immediately took to his social media accounts, and X in particular, where he stated; “that chainsmokers remix is getting NUKED mate wow,’ before further adding; “please don’t remix my sh*t and think it’s cool to post to all DSPs.” 

Renowned for some iconic remixes over the years, the electronic duo have not replied as of yet, however their remix of ‘4 Raws’ is no longer available on the aforementioned platforms, other than rips available on YouTube that are also expected to be taken down shortly.
