Pro-C 3 expands the compressor’s features with six new compression styles, bringing the total to 14. These include versatile everyday options, smoother glue-style compression, more aggressive upward and multi-band dynamics, and two new styles inspired by classic opto and variable-mu hardware.

Ahead of NAMM 2025, FabFilter has released Pro-C 3, the latest version of its flagship compressor plug-in, alongside a major free update to Pro-Q 4.

Pro-C 3 also introduces a new Character section, adding subtle analog-style saturation options, along with a significantly upgraded Sidechain EQ, now expanded to six bands. New features include host tempo-based triggering, Auto Threshold, and full Dolby Atmos support.

Alongside Pro-C 3, FabFilter has rolled out Pro-Q 4.10, a free update that meaningfully improves workflow. The Instance List, originally introduced in Pro-Q 4, now supports Pro-C 3, Pro-G, and Pro-DS, allowing users to control multiple FabFilter plug-ins across tracks from a single interface.

Pro-C 3 is available now for EUR 169 / USD 199 / GBP 149, with upgrade discounts for existing users. Pro-Q 4.10 is a free update for current Pro-Q 4 owners, and both plug-ins are available as a 30-day free trial on Windows and macOS.
