GO: MIXER STUDIO – Roland’s latest portable audio mixer
Roland has introduced the GO:MIXER STUDIO, a new portable audio mixer and interface designed for use with iPhone, iPad, and Mac or Windows.
The GO:MIXER STUDIO has 12 input channels and six outputs, with support for recording at up to 24-bit/192kHz. Its inputs include two XLR mic/line connections, a dedicated guitar or bass input, stereo ¼-inch inputs for instruments, and an auxiliary stereo input. It comes with TRRS support. This allows two-way audio with mobile devices, making it suitable for video recording and livestreaming setups.
For monitoring and output, the unit includes a standard ¼-inch headphone jack as well as a mini jack for earphones, alongside two ¼-inch line outputs for connecting to speakers or studio monitors. The onboard processing section includes a three-band EQ, a compressor, and reverb.
Power can be supplied via a connected mobile device or computer, an external power adapter, or a USB battery. Roland offers a companion GO:MIXER Cam App for iOS, which allows multitrack audio and video recording. The GO:MIXER STUDIO is available now for $299.
