KORG launches microAUDIO compact audio interface series

Following the recent release of the Filter Ark, KORG has now followed up by launching the microAUDIO series.

This range includes two desktop audio interface models: microAUDIO 22 and microAUDIO 722. Both are designed for users who primarily want a small, compact audio interface.

In terms of similarities, both interfaces support 24-bit/192kHz audio and use low-noise, studio-grade preamps. They include Mic, Line, and Hi-Z inputs with phantom (48 V+) power, balanced inputs and outputs, and direct monitoring for low-latency recording. Physical front-panel controls give a simple operational feel, while built-in loopback makes it easier to route audio straight to DAWs for streaming or recording content.

The microAUDIO 22 is the starting option in the lineup. It focuses on clean audio capture and a minimal layout, making it suitable for beginners, home studios, or users who want a reliable interface for vocals, instruments, and everyday production tasks without additional processing features. The microAUDIO 722 adds an analogue filter based on the miniKORG 700S, allowing users to shape sound directly. The filter supports low-pass, high-pass, and bypass modes and can process both live inputs and audio from a connected computer. Thanks to this, the 722 can also work as a standalone analog filter as well while coming quite handy for live performances and shows.

The microAUDIO 22 is priced at $199 while the 722 is available for $269. Both products are available for purchase from the KORG online store.
