NAMM 2026: Apogee announces Symphony Nova audio interface
Apogee introduced the Symphony Nova, a compact desktop audio interface that combines onboard DSP processing with the company’s established AD/DA conversion. Designed for low-latency processing without relying heavily on a computer’s CPU.
What keeps Symphony Nova ticking is an ARM-powered DSP system that supports real-time processing on all four mic inputs. This allows users to apply Apogee’s ECS Channel Strip, along with reverb and delay effects, during tracking and monitoring. The ECS Channel Strip includes a four-band EQ with high- and low-pass filters, compression, and saturation.
The interface also includes DSP-based monitor correction, with support for SoundID. This is intended to help users achieve more consistent monitoring results in untreated or less-than-ideal rooms. Because these processes run on the interface’s internal DSP, they do not add load to the host computer’s CPU.
For instrument recording, the Symphony Nova provides a DI input and re-amping I/O inspired by Apogee’s Ensemble series, allowing guitars and pedals to be integrated into a DAW workflow. ADAT expansion is included for users who need to add more inputs for larger recording sessions. The Symphony Nova is expected to ship in early Q2, priced at $1,499 MSRP.
