In a recent study by SeatPick, it became apparent that raving is the most popular form of New Year’s Eve celebrations in the UK.

Ringing in the new year has never been more fun, and with a celebration suited for each, the possibilities are truly endless. Taking it that one level further, a recent study conducted by ticketing platform SeatPick, has revealed that the majority of people in the United Kingdom rank raving at the very top of their New Year’s Eve (NYE) celebrations, with clubbing also coming a close third for their most in-demand NYE events

Focusing directly on search statistics, and with the help of Google Analytics, it became evident that British people take an interest for raving during NYE, with Google on average receiving around 598 searches for “New Year’s Eve raves’ per month, leading of course to the occasion itself. Moreover, clubbing also ranked high with 245 average monthly searches and despite the recent increase of club closures, whilst live music also followed in fourth, as concerts averaged 220 searches in the lead up to NYE.

A clear insight on the UK’s preferences when celebrating NYE, the SeatPick study indicated that more relaxed activities were also of high-demand, as the second most popular search after raving of course, was cinema screenings with 459 average searches, whilst spa days also ranked in the Top 10 of this particular study.
