Solid State Logic has introduced autoSeries, a new family of plug-ins that brings together the classic sound of SSL consoles with sonible’s AI-assisted audio analysis.

Each plug-in analyses the incoming audio, suggests style-matched starting points based on the source material, and applies fully editable processing.

autoEQ is modelled on the SSL 4000 E channel strip and focuses on intelligent equalisation. It analyses the spectral content of a track and proposes EQ curves tailored to the instrument or genre, while retaining the familiar SSL character known for clarity, presence, and musical balance.

autoDYN handles dynamics, drawing from the compressor, limiter, gate, and expander sections of the SSL 4000 E console. It provides adaptive settings for tasks such as punchy compression, fast gating, or controlled expansion.

For buses and the mix bus, autoBUS is inspired by the iconic SSL 4000 G Bus Compressor. It uses AI analysis to suggest genre- and source-aware compression settings for subgroups or full mixes, while maintaining the cohesive “glue” the original hardware is known for.

The SSL autoSeries plug-ins are available now. Each plug-in is priced at an introductory offer of $49 / £39 / €49 until 26 January 2026, with a bundle of all three available for $99 / £79 / €99. They are also included in SSL’s Complete Access subscription, which provides access to the wider SSL, Harrison Audio, and Slate Digital plug-in catalog for a monthly fee.
