Known for its rich tube harmonics and musical response, the UA 610 is now available as a free download for a limited time.

The collection includes faithful emulations of the UA 610-A and 610-B tube channel strips, now available both as UAD Native plug-ins and for Apollo DSP systems. Originally introduced in 1960 by Bill Putnam Sr., the 610 console helped define the sound of early modern recording, known for its rich tube harmonics, musical EQ, and natural saturation.

Previously exclusive to Apollo users, the 610 collection can now be used natively in any DAW. For Apollo users, the plug-ins also integrate with Unison technology for real-time tracking with authentic preamp behaviour.

Universal Audio is widely known for some of the best-selling and most respected plug-ins in the industry, and this free gift is a rare and great opportunity to add a high-end, studio-standard tool to your setup without spending anything.

Usually priced at $29.00, the UA 610 Tube Preamp & EQ Collection is available now as a free download for a limited time via Universal Audio and participating retailers.
