Zhu says new album will arrive in early 2026
Ever since Zhu mysteriously burst onto the scene over a decade ago, his infectious rhythms and silky smooth productions have elevated him to the forefront of the music scene. In the years since, his catalog has grown consistently, and his now preparing to release his fifth full-length album early this year.
Ever since he released Faded and THE NIGHTDAY EP, Zhu has consistently shared new music, ebbing between full-length albums, mix tapes, and new extended plays. Less than two years since the release of his latest opus, GRACE, fans can expect another album from the American artist. In recent months, he has been busy on social media, detailing the tragic loss of his home due to the California wildfires, fully diving into his BLACKLIZT programming, and working on a fresh set of music for the future. Now he has revealed that the latest album is coming sooner than fans may have expected.
Taking to social media, Zhu shared a simple post, containing white text on a black background, reading, “when’s the new zhu album coming?” Fortunately, fans didn’t have to wait long for an answer as he captioned the post with, ‘Idk before ultra for sure.’ He has never been afraid to eschew normal release strategies and planning to focus on his own album rollouts, and it appears that will hold for his latest project. While he hasn’t shared any further details, Ultra Music will open its gates on March 27th this year, so there is just under three months of a window before fans get to hear the new album.
