ADD9 and Mayo drop driving remix of Planet Funk classic; Listen

In dance music, it’s never a bad idea to revive a classic track with a fresh production to give fans something exciting and familiar. ADD9 and Mayo just dropped an incredible new remix that is already gaining support from some of the biggest names in dance.

Listening back to the classic 2003 hit from Planet Funk, Chase The Sun, immediately brings fans back to a different era and group that managed to build a feeling deep into an iconic track. Written in a different era, Planet Funk created a timeless hit, but it’s certainly a track worthy of a modern remix. Seeing the opportunity to craft a club-ready version of Chase The Sun, ADD9 and Mayo have delivered their own incredible remix. Righfully maintaining the legendary synth lead of the original and the vocals of Finnish singer Auli Kokko.

Delivered with the power of a modern melodic techno foundation, both ADD9 and Mayo have combined for a track that won’t offend the purists, while built for the clubs and festivals of the modern age. Further giving credit to the power of the new remix, it has already seen support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Silver Panda, to name a few stars. The power and pulse of the new production hits hard in the best way, and both artists give plenty of space to the original elements, making this an incredible listen.
