Alesso opens up on new chapter in recent Modern Luxury interview
In a recent interview with Modern Luxury, Swedish maestro Alesso opened up on the new chapter in both his life and career.
Entering a brand new chapter in both his life and professional career, legendary DJ and record producer Alesso has revealed the turning point that led to this very moment, with his focus and overall mentality shifting towards a clearer vision of what he wants and strives to achieve when going forward. Opening up on this in a recent interview with Modern Luxury, it is now more than ever essential to truly identify oneself, and as clarity has emerged, Alesso is more than set on continuing his legacy with such a mindset.
Having stepped back from touring in 2024, it was a case of tinnitus that led to a three-month break, one that he now looks back on as a pivotal moment in embracing the craft he is so passionate about. Re-igniting his love of music and performing on stage, it was his return to Ultra Miami that hit him with pure emotion, with the man himself stating: “It was like I was 18 years old again. I walked onstage almost like it was the first time. That was the first big show of the year after the break. It reminded me how important this really is to me.”
An eye-opening moment that has allowed Alesso to identify his wants and needs when entering this new chapter, it is now even more apparent “that success to me is finding peace,” while “also being okay with where you are, not having extreme highs and lows.” Clear and focused statements on what is to come, Alesso further discussed his approach to touring following his break, his highly anticipated B2B set with Martin Garrix at Ultra Miami next month, and the launch of his own label, Body Hi, among other things.
