Charlotte de Witte releases ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ and announces deluxe vinyl edition: Listen

Charlotte de Witte has released her new single ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ today, while also confirming a Vinyl Deluxe Edition of her recent self-titled debut album, set to arrive on April 3 via her KNTXT imprint. The release marks the next chapter in the album’s lifecycle, expanding its conceptual and sonic scope with new material and exclusive formats.

Moreover, the deluxe boxed vinyl edition introduces an additional four-track disc featuring two brand-new cuts, ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ featuring Conduit and ‘Malina’, alongside two vinyl-exclusive versions, ‘The Heads That Know (They Know Acid)’ and ‘No Division (Instrumental Mix)’. In addition, the box includes a branded SD card containing all tracks, an exclusive continuous album mix curated by Charlotte de Witte, and a high-quality booklet showcasing official cover photography. Digitally, the deluxe release includes ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’, ‘Malina’, and an exclusive Avalon & GMS remix of the title track.

Reflecting on the release, Charlotte de Witte explained that ‘A Prayer for the Dancefloor’ encapsulates the album’s core philosophy. The track features spoken-word vocals from Conduit, delivered over a driving techno framework marked by acid textures and evolving tension. Meanwhile, ‘Malina’, built around Bulgarian vocals, balances emotional depth with high-impact energy, while the Avalon & GMS Remix bridges techno and psytrance influences, reinforcing the cross-genre dialogue that has increasingly shaped the KNTXT sound.

Finally, the release arrives as Charlotte de Witte continues to celebrate her 15-year career milestone, with two sold-out Flanders Expo shows scheduled for February 6 and 7, followed by an extensive global tour throughout 2026.
