Deep Dish & Nicole Moudaber rework ‘Love Someone Else’: Listen
Deep Dish have joined forces with Nicole Moudaber to deliver a renewed version of ‘Love Someone Else’, originally created with Skunk Anansie. Now released via Factory 93 Records, the updated production reconnects the track with contemporary dancefloors while maintaining the emotional weight that defined its earlier chapter. Consequently, the collaboration bridges nearly a decade of evolution.
Originally issued in 2016 through MOOD Records, Moudaber’s interpretation of ‘Love Someone Else’ followed her creative partnership with Skin, frontwoman of Skunk Anansie. Rather than approaching the track as a conventional remix, she treated it as a revision — reshaping its intensity for underground club settings while preserving its songwriting core. Therefore, the production blurred lines between alternative rock expression and electronic club frameworks.
Nearly ten years later, long-time admirers Deep Dish sought to license the track again. Instead of revisiting it unchanged, Moudaber re-engaged with the material from a present-day perspective. “It was always about instinct and emotion rather than genre,” she explained. “When Deep Dish reached out all these years later, it felt natural to return to it again.”
Ultimately, the new version combines Deep Dish’s melodic house signature with Moudaber’s darker sensibility, allowing Skin’s vocal to resonate with renewed power. As a result, ‘Love Someone Else’ continues its evolution without losing the spirit that first defined it.
