Fantasm, CARV, Odymel & HADES issue statements against sexual misconduct allegations

Home Featured Fantasm, CARV, Odymel & HADES issue statements against sexual misconduct allegations

Multiple hard techno artists have come under fire recently for sexual misconduct allegations, and now a handful of them including Fantasm and CARV have responded.

Going on for a few days, Instagram user @bradnolimit has been taking to his stories to share many stories from alleged victims of hard techno artists (read more about the situation here), and now Fantasm, CARV, HADES and Odymel have responded to these.

Fantasm

Sharing a three-minute-long video on his socials, Fantasm (real name Kenzo Meservey) went into detail about his situation. Speaking up for the alleged victims of this situation, he also turned the tables on his accuser @bradnolimit, talking about how he knew about these allegations for a while and “only started to speak out when he got fired from the agency STEER”, who represented many of these artists and others across the hard techno scene. It’s also worth noting that Fantasm’s allegations are not new ones, spanning years in France specifically, although Fantasm has denied these allegations, and is seeking legal action against his accusers. His video statement includes messages and screenshots, and you can watch it below.

CARV

Yesterday, CARV released a text statement to his Instagram with the headline ‘I was unfaithful’. His statement also says “I had private chat conversations with several women. Those conversations became explicit, and I sent intimate images of myself. I want to clearly state that there was no non-consensual behaviour and no criminal wrongdoing. But that doesn’t make it right.” Also stepping away from social media, he has handed it over to his management and is going to “take responsibility in my real life and reflect on my actions.

HADES

Taking a different approach, and one that has gotten him even more backlash suggesting he used humour in this situation, HADES responded to bradnolimit/his victim’s allegations in a news style reel format. Stating that “these aren’t clout tools, these are real problems with real victims“, he goes on to say that all allegations against him are false and he “distances himself from anything or anyone involved in wrongdoing.” In the comments section addressing the video backlash, he also said “The whole point of the format of this video was to display the way that this subject had been tackled by brad. I dont find this topic funny at all. people that blindly and falsely accuse me of sa and abuse do not get my respect.”

Odymel

The last statement (at the time of writing) comes from Odymel, who has stated that his accusations come from a spell of ‘sexsomnia’, and he was not aware of his actions as he was asleep at the time. Before turning the comments off on the post, duo NERVO commented “Sexsomnia doesn’t exist. If you sexually assault someone please don’t make excuses. That is so disrespectful to the survivor.”

The above statements are all part of an ongoing investigation, with more accusations surfacing.
