Fred again.. releases ‘Lights Burn Dimmer’ with Jamie T: Listen
Fred again.. today released ‘Lights Burn Dimmer’ alongside Jamie T, marking his third drop of 2026 and further extending the evolving USB002 chapter. Consequently, the release follows ‘scared’ with Young Thug and Hamdi’s remix of ‘OK OK’, which will appear on the newly announced ‘USB002 REMIXES’ album. The remix project will feature seven reworked tracks from the ongoing USB series and will arrive on March 6.
Meanwhile, Fred recently wrapped his USB002 New York residency at East End Studios, closing the run with a final weekend that underlined the collaborative nature of the project. On Friday, he shared the stage with KETTAMA and BRUX, while Saturday’s lineup included Caribou and Ben UFO, reinforcing the genre-spanning direction of the series.
Now, Fred continues the momentum in London with a two-week residency at Alexandra Palace. The opening night brought together Hamdi, Nia Archives, and Oppidan, alongside PA performances from CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Ezra Collective, Headie One, Jamie T, Blanco, and Berwyn. As a result, the USB002 era continues to blur the lines between live performance, club culture, and collaborative songwriting.
Last September, Fred launched this new USB phase by committing to release ten songs while performing ten shows in ten cities across ten weeks. Since then, he has added tracks including ‘you’re a star’ with Amyl and the Sniffers, ‘Talk of the Town’ with Sammy Virji & Reggie, and ‘Beto’s Horns’ with CA7RIEL, Paco Amoroso & Ezra Collective. Ultimately, with vinyl editions arriving and remix projects underway, Fred again.. keeps expanding the USB catalogue in real time.
