John Summit announces ‘CTRL ESCAPE’, new album out April 15

Global dance music force John Summit has announced his highly anticipated new album ‘CTRL ESCAPE’, set for release on April 15 via Experts Only / Darkroom Records. Notably, the project reframes the tension first explored on ‘Comfort in Chaos’, shifting focus toward the clash between everyday routine and the release found on the dancefloor.

Moreover, ‘CTRL ESCAPE’ draws directly from Summit’s own journey, tracing his transition from corporate life to global stages. Rather than positioning music as simple escapism, the album frames the rave as a shared space of resistance, connection, and belonging. That contrast arrives immediately on lead single ‘Lights Go Out’, which Summit introduced through high-impact visuals depicting office repetition dissolving into club chaos. Since then, Summit has fueled anticipation further by confirming a new single will drop every other Wednesday leading up to release.
