KSHMR delivers heartfelt message concerning career and self

The electronic music industry has focused on mental health in recent years as more and more artists reveal their own struggles. KSHMR is the latest to share his thoughts, worries, and more in a heartfelt message to his fans.

As an American producer, KSHMR has repeatedly shown his interest and passion for world music, adding Indian elements and melodies to much of his work. With over a decade of success, he has delivered many classic tracks, worked alongside prolific producers, delivered sets from stages worldwide, and crafted some of the most respected sample packs available. In a lengthy video, the producer talks directly to the camera, apologizing to the fans for not communicating more, but dives into how the stresses of the industry, a changing dance music landscape, and his own mental health have led him to stay quiet recently.

In his video, KSHMR discusses how the rigors of delivering constant output and agreeing to collaborations cause they are easy releases rather than projects he is passionate about. All the pressure and circumstances have impacted his passion, and the producer says he now questions if he really has much left to say musically. Being very upfront about the mental health issue, he says the feelings have left him depressed at times, and he just wanted to be upfront with his fans and give insight into what the future may hold. While he gives no clear path forward for new music, he does say he is very deep into work on the latest Sounds of KSHMR collection.

We know how passionate KSHMR is, and we hope that he finds the inspiration and direction for whatever comes next for him!
