Lane 8 parts way with Wasserman Music following Epstein files revelations
Taking to his social media accounts, Lane 8 has made it clear that he no longer wishes to be associated with Wasserman Music amid Epstein files revelations.
Adding to the list of artists to be taking a stance against Casey Wasserman, American DJ and record producer Lane 8 has made it clear that he will part ways with the formers’ artist agency, Wasserman Music. This statement follows the revelations around Wasserman’s involvement in the Epstein files, with the CEO and founder having had direct contact with Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted associate of Jeffrey Epstein.
Taking to his social media accounts, and Instagram in particular, Lane 8 shared on his story that “I have communicated to my team that I no longer wish to be represented by the Wasserman Music agency.” This decision has also been made by the likes of Chapel Roan and rock band Dropkick Murphys, whilst also John Summit and Above & Beyond have also made their own opinions on the matter more than clear, and that is that they do not wish to be associated with Wasserman himself or his agency.
A clear and direct statement towards the matter, Lane 8 has also shared his thoughts on the future, as “I am encouraged by the artists, teams and agency staff who have come together in the hope of building something new that better represents our values.” One of the many artists to share this exact feeling, we would also like to know your own thoughts in the comments section.
