PinkPantheress links with Four Tet on ‘Illegal’ remix following BRIT Awards triumph: Listen
Fresh off her historic Producer of the Year win at the BRIT Awards 2026, PinkPantheress wastes no time in pushing forward. The UK artist has now unveiled ‘Illegal + Four Tet’, a streaming-exclusive remix that sees her join forces with one of electronic music’s most respected innovators.
The collaboration carries weight. Four Tet, long admired for his boundary-blurring production and understated influence across electronic and alternative spaces, brings a subtle reimagining to ‘Illegal’. Speaking about the release, PinkPantheress shared that she was “stunned” when she first heard about the remix, revealing that Four Tet’s track ‘Alap’ has long been a personal favorite. For her, this wasn’t just another remix — it was a full-circle moment.
The release also expands the growing universe around her recent project ‘Fancy That’ and its remix companion ‘Fancy Some More?’ – a 22-track global reinterpretation featuring contributions from Anitta, Bladee, JADE, JT, Kylie Minogue, Oklou, Rachel Chinouriri, Ravyn Lenae, Yves, Zara Larsson, alongside collectives such as Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, SEVENTEEN, and Sugababes. On the production side, names like Kaytranada, Joe Goddard, Nia Archives, Sega Bodega, Mochakk, and now Four Tet reinforce the project’s cross-genre ambition.
Meanwhile, the momentum extends beyond streaming platforms. PinkPantheress will launch the next chapter of her ‘An Evening with PinkPantheress’ North American run this April. The expanded routing includes stops in Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Boston, and additional major cities, marking her most extensive tour to date. The new leg follows a completely sold-out 13-show residency-style run, including two nights at Kings Theater in Brooklyn and four nights at The Wiltern in Los Angeles.
Additionally, she will make her solo-performance debut at Coachella 2026, further cementing her global crossover trajectory. Physically, fans can now access multiple formats of ‘Fancy Some More?’, including a 2LP vinyl edition (transparent purple and clear), a 3CD box set, a 1CD wallet, and a standard cassette – a continuation of the tactile aesthetic she has carefully cultivated alongside her digital presence.
From award recognition to cross-generational collaborations and global touring, PinkPantheress continues to blur the line between underground sensibility and mainstream elevation. ‘Illegal + Four Tet’ feels less like a remix and more like another marker in an artist who understands exactly when to pivot – and when to amplify.
