Soundtoys 5.5 bundles 23 audio effects into a single collection. The package includes plugins such as EchoBoy, Decapitator, SuperPlate, SpaceBlender, Little AlterBoy, Crystallizer, FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, PanMan, Tremolator, Radiator, Devil-Loc, and more.

Version 5.5 introduces SpaceBlender, a new experimental reverb now fully integrated into the Effect Rack. The update also adds 67 new Effect Rack presets and brings resizable user interfaces to all individual plug-ins.

At the center of the bundle sits the Soundtoys Effect Rack. It allows users to load multiple Soundtoys effects into a single instance and build custom processing chains. Global controls manage input, output, mix, tempo sync, and the Recycle function, which feeds the rack’s output back into its input for complex delay and reverb textures.

Users can lock rhythmic effects to a single tempo or run them freely. Presets can be saved and recalled within the rack. The Outer Limits preset collection adds 67 additional sound design-focused presets.

Soundtoys 5.5 supports computer-based authorization and does not require an iLok USB dongle. A free iLok account is required. Each license includes two activations.

Many plug-ins feature expanded Tweak panels with deeper circuit-level controls, modulation shaping tools, and editable LFO and rhythm editors. Custom modulation shapes can be drawn and synced to the host DAW.
