Home Events The xx announce first concert in 6 years

Revered as one of the most endearing and powerful indie acts of the 21st century, The xx achieved global success thanks to their anthemic songs. Following a long period of inactivity, the group is ready to return in 2026 and has revealed details for their comeback show.

It has been nearly a decade since The xx delivered their third album, I See You, and embarked on a world tour in support of the project. Since then, the individual members have stayed busy with their own projects, all of them releasing full-length solo projects, but fans have clamored for the group to reunite. With talks of the group spending time in the studio dating back to early 2025, fans have had to be patient as the group prepares its return. Good news came as the trio was added to the 2026 Coachella line-up, as well as revealing a run of other dates throughout the year, but they have only now announced their official return to the stage.

Having teased the announcement in recent days, The xx have now officially revealed that April 4th will be the next time they perform for fans. In a post to social media, the group said, ‘It’s been a while since our last show together as The xx.  In 2026, we share our music with you all live again. This is the start of a next chapter together, and there’s no better place to return than in front of our Mexican fans. We’ve always felt a deep connection to Mexico – the warmth, the openness, the energy from the crowd.’ The show will take place at the Pepsi Center WTC in Mexico City on April 4th, and fans can sign up today for pre-sale access to tickets.
